This Privacy Policy details certain policies governing Women’s Ally's use of personally identifiable information about users of our Site and users of services available through this Site (the "Services").  Please note that the practices of Women’s Ally with respect to personal information may be amended from time to time. We encourage visitors to and users of our site to regularly review our Privacy Policy. Remember, you always have a choice to opt-in or opt-out of our use of your personal information.  By using the site you consent to the collection, use and disclosure of your personal information in accordance with this policy.

Privacy Policy Updates

All personal information that we collect and maintain will be subject to this Privacy Policy, as amended from time to time. "Personal information" is defined as any information that identifies or can be used to identify, contact, or locate the person to whom such information pertains. Women’s Ally reserves the right to change the Privacy Policy from time to time at its sole discretion. Women’s Ally will post its updated Privacy Policy on our Site located at www.womensally.com and may send registered users an email, so you are always aware of what personally identifiable information is collected and how it is used.  If any modification is unacceptable to you, you shall cease using this Site and the Services. If you do not cease using this Site and the Services, you will be deemed to have accepted the change.

Information Collection and Use

You can generally visit our Site without revealing any personally identifiable information about yourself.  However, in certain sections of this Site and when you use our Services, we may invite you to contact us with questions or comments or request information, provide or upload documents and other content.  Due to the nature of some of these activities, we may collect personally identifiable information that you submit in your profile, such as your email address, gender, age and/or phone number and other demographic data.  We may also collect additional personally identifiable information.  When making submissions, ordering products or services on the Site, you may be asked to provide your name, address, email address, credit card number, phone and fax numbers or other information.  We may use your personally identifiable information to register you to use our Site and Services, deliver certain services, provide notices regarding services you have purchased, and verify your authority to enter our Site, improve the content and general administration of the Site and our Services and display targeted advertising on web pages served by the Site.

Your choices with respect to personal information

Women’s Ally recognizes and appreciates the importance of responsible use of information collected on the Site. Women’s Ally may communicate information to you regarding products, services, and special offers available from Women’s Ally or selected third parties unless you have opted not to receive such communications or such communications are prohibited by law, although we may find it necessary to communicate with you regarding your use of the services on the Site. We do not sell, rent or share your personally identifiable information to or with third parties for marketing purposes or in any way other than that disclosed in this privacy statement. You may "opt out" of receiving Women’s Ally's email updates, newsletter and/or partner emails by clicking on the "My Account" link on the Site and making the appropriate selections. Women’s Ally may still contact you when there are changes to the Terms of Service or Submitter Terms & Conditions, as applicable. In addition, we might send you strictly service-related announcements on rare occasions when it is necessary to do so. For instance, if our service is temporarily suspended for maintenance, we might send you an email.  Generally, you may not opt-out of these communications, which are not promotional in nature. If you do not wish to receive them, you have the option of deactivating your account.  There are limited instances in which Women’s Ally may divulge your personal information, including requirements of law, regulation, or litigation. We reserve the right to disclose your personal information as required by law (e.g., to comply with a subpoena, warrant, court order, or legal process served on Women’s Ally) and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, and/or respond to a government request. Correction/Updating Personally Identifiable Information

Women’s Ally provides you with the ability to review, correct and delete any of your user profile.  Information you post in other areas of the Site cannot be deleted.  If you wish to review or correct any profile information you have provided to us, you may submit a request to us at the contact email below or access your account online.  If you have any questions regarding this Privacy Policy please contact us via email at support@WomensAlly.com. 

Protection of your personal information

The personal information that you provide in connection with registering yourself as a user of any of the Services on our Site is, for the purposes of this Privacy Policy, classified as Registration Information. Registration Information is protected in several ways. Access by you to your Registration Information is available through a password and unique customer ID selected by you. This password is encrypted. You should not divulge your password to anyone. In addition, your Registration Information resides on a secure server that only selected Women’s Ally personnel and contractors have access to via password. Women’s Ally encrypts your personal information and thereby strives to prevent unauthorized parties from viewing such information when it is transmitted to Women’s Ally.  The security of your personal information is important to us. Women’s Ally uses a third party payment processor.  When you enter sensitive information (such as credit card number and/or social security number) on their website, that information is protected by using secure socket layer technology (SSL).  We strive to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure, however. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.  Women’s Ally takes its users' privacy concerns seriously. If you believe that Women’s Ally has not complied with this Privacy Policy with respect to your personal information, you may contact the Privacy Officer at support@WomensAlly.com. In your letter please describe in as much detail as possible the ways in which you believe that the Women’s Ally Privacy Policy has not been complied with. We will investigate your complaint promptly.

Credit Card Information

Women’s Ally uses an outside credit card processing company such as PayPal to bill you for our goods and services. Credit card information is used only for payment processing and fraud prevention. Credit card information and other sensitive personal information required to process a credit decision is not used for any other purpose by our financial services providers or Women’s Ally and is not retained by Women’s Ally.  Such information will not be kept longer than necessary for providing the services, unless you ask us to retain your credit card information for future purchases.

Children's Privacy

Women’s Ally recognizes the privacy interests of children and we encourage parents and guardians to take an active role in their children's online activities and interests.  This Site is not intended for children under the age of 13.  Women’s Ally does not target its Services or this Site to children under 13.  Women’s Ally does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. 

Cookies

We may use small text files called cookies to improve overall Site experience. A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user's hard drive containing information about the user. Cookies generally do not permit us to personally identify you. 

Aggregate Information
