Correction/Updating Personally Identifiable Information

Protection of your personal information

The personal information that you provide in connection with registering yourself as a user of any of the Services on our Site is, for the purposes of this Privacy Policy, classified as Registration Information. Registration Information is protected in several ways. Access by you to your Registration Information is available through a password and unique customer ID selected by you. This password is encrypted. You should not divulge your password to anyone. In addition, your Registration Information resides on a secure server that only selected Women’s Ally personnel and contractors have access to via password. Women’s Ally encrypts your personal information and thereby strives to prevent unauthorized parties from viewing such information when it is transmitted to Women’s Ally.  The security of your personal information is important to us. Women’s Ally uses a third party payment processor.  When you enter sensitive information (such as credit card number and/or social security number) on their website, that information is protected by using secure socket layer technology (SSL).  We strive to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure, however. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.  Women’s Ally takes its users' privacy concerns seriously. If you believe that Women’s Ally has not complied with this Privacy Policy with respect to your personal information, you may contact the Privacy Officer at support@WomensAlly.com. In your letter please describe in as much detail as possible the ways in which you believe that the Women’s Ally Privacy Policy has not been complied with. We will investigate your complaint promptly.

 

Credit Card Information

Women’s Ally uses an outside credit card processing company such as PayPal to bill you for our goods and services. Credit card information is used only for payment processing and fraud prevention. Credit card information and other sensitive personal information required to process a credit decision is not used for any other purpose by our financial services providers or Women’s Ally and is not retained by Women’s Ally.  Such information will not be kept longer than necessary for providing the services, unless you ask us to retain your credit card information for future purchases.

 

Children's Privacy

Women’s Ally recognizes the privacy interests of children and we encourage parents and guardians to take an active role in their children's online activities and interests.  This Site is not intended for children under the age of 13.  Women’s Ally does not target its Services or this Site to children under 13.  Women’s Ally does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13.
