Fulfill Your Fiction Needs
I DO Read my Email!
In response to the many email requests (Thank You!) for a few fiction recommendations, here you will find my current top 5. It’s a Trilogy Yes, my first recommendation is a set of three. They are all awesome and each keeps you completely engaged. If you are from the US, the first, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, takes about 100 pages to get used to the Swedish names and locales. It’s completely worth the time investment, because the remaining pages will more than make up! TIP: Don’t get caught finishing the 2nd book without having the 3rd nearby. Where The Girl who Played with Fire abruptly stops (and leaves you hanging) The Girl who Kicked the Hornet’s Nest picks right up (in the heart of the action!). Don’t Wait for the Movie You can’t deprive your imagination of this brilliantly written book. All I’ll say, is Water for Elephants setting is the circus (yes, under the Big Top) during the Great Depression. Trust me, you will not be disappointed. The Strangest and Best Gift I've Ever Received The final recommendation was a given to me as a gift. My private reaction was "This person doesn't know me very well." I read a lot and books are so personal, as we each have our own unique tastes. However, because I respected the giver, I read the book. While The Red Tent is not my "typical" read, I loved it. And, learned that the person new me better than I knew myself. Share your favorites below. blog comments powered by Disqus |
